Happy Monday everyone! If you pre-ordered The Dusty Attic Chipboard items, they are shipping out to you today. As these items ship from Austrailia, takes a while for us to replenish stock.

More news broke on 1st, at the Live Chat as well. We introduced our newest Design Team member, Debbie Weinhold. What an assest she will be to our team and to our members. On Friday night, we introduced our newest TOP SHELF/TOP CHEF of the month, Victoria Warren-Mears. Our Design Team/aka: Spice Girls had a tough time picking this months Top Chef. With all of the talented ladies with work in the gallery, it was a tough job. Victoria is so very talented, and we are all just in love with her work.

Here is a little tasty tidbits on Victoria: "I have been avidly scrapbooking for 8 years, recently I have begun making more cards. I love creating, trying new techniques and mixing it up on my layouts and other projects. I am currently on the design teams for Eye-Lets, Etc. and Pages in Time. I have previously served on various digital and paper design teams for stores and blogs. In addition to scrapbooking I love designing jewelry, and have had several of my designs featured in Bead Trends magazine."

What a great Time!

We had a great time at our GRAND-Grand Opening. So many fun challenges, games and contest kept our day going. Our interactive scrappin bingo that was held at 3pm was a hit as well. Congratualtions to Rebecca, our bingo queen! Thank you to everyone who participated! You made the day fantastic. Of course, this day would never have happened if it was not for our very own SPICE GIRLS, aka-our Design Team. These ladies worked tirelessly to create and host all of the fun events.

At the grand opening, we also revealed our very first TOP CHEF of the month, Debbie Weinhold. Her work is just stunning, and we are so very fortunate to have it in our gallery. Debbie will also post a challenge for everyone to participate, within the next few days.

I know you all have been waiting and waiting to find out who won the "countdown the brads" contest. Well, I am very sad to say, all of you girls who counted 45--nope-sorry! not 45.

Then we one who said 42 and another said 44. I thought that would be fun, we might have two winners. Then we finally had someone say 43! Yep! there were 43 brads. Did you notice, the brads were displayed on the On The Coast paper pack?

Countdown to the 15th!!!!

Hello everyone! Wow! Due to many technical issues yesterday, we were unable to start our "Countdown to the 15th". As we get ready to swing open the doors to the Scrappy Chic Cafe on August 15th, I am making it up to everyone by posting two contest today.

1) We are sure you don't want to keep all these tasty treats to yourself?! The first person to refer 10 friends that become followers of our blog AND our facebook site will win a YUMMY prize pack! Just make sure your friend lets us know you sent them to the CAFE. You will have plenty of time to for this one, ends this friday night (August 6th, at midnight).

2) This will be a fun contest, and yes, the prize will be a very yummy prize as well!! You will have until midnight, August 13th for this one. Create a card or page using the Scrappy Chic Cafe logo. Winner will be determined by our panel of Judges and will be featured on our blog AND our facebook page. All entries must be handcrafted (no digital pages) and your photograph of completed item should be cropped and clear so it will look nice on our blog and facebook page.

Hi Everyone!

Hope this finds you having a fantastic weekend! I am so happy to share with you, that in just a few short days, I will have stock in my store!! that is correct--STOCK!! I love Zva crystals and pearls, as i am sure you do to. I am so excieted that now Zva will carry a selection of florals as well. And dont you worry yourself, or stay up late at night wondering if I will carry them, because i just ordered them. Of course I have to wait until CHA is over for them to ship. I honestly can't wait. They are so pretty.

Also, to get everyone in the SPOOK-TACULAR mood of Halloween, I have some very cute Halloween recipe cards coming. You will be queen of your neighborhood block, or school treat party when you pass out your yummy homemade treats this Halloween, complete with the recipe attached with a pretty bow.

Scrappy Chic Cafe is getting ready to open the doors!!

How exciting and nerve wracking the next 4 to 6 weeks will be. As i prepare the cafe to serve up yummy scrapbooking treats.

So many items and ideas swirling in my head. So many great suggestions from all of my family and friends. This has been a long time coming, several setbacks, but now, its full steam ahead. I have presently secured several tasty manufactures that I am sure will delight our guests. From bling to kits, papers to ribbon. I can't wait until our menu is complete.

Also, we will have a very special section available of pre-made items direct from our own kitchen. Pre-made not on your taste-buds, but like what you see? We will also offer the items, naked, so that you can create in the comfort of your own kitchen.

We also will offer, a one of a kind, scrappy chic cafe EXCLUSIVE. I can't reveal the details, but, i can perk your appetite and let you know, it was inspired by a night out on the town.
